Ya I know I'm always doing a catching up post.
So here's a little background on my life the few months. Okay 8+ months? I stopped blogging to spend time with my little family. The last few months we had left as a family for awhile. As many of you know Sam is in the military and this is the life we live. Yes as of currently it is just the kids and I. Before Sam left we just hung out and spent time together. My family took us to Disneyland and lake Powell. The last few months were the best months I could of asked for. When Sam left I never thought it would be as hard as it has been. I always thought it would be no big deal because we've been threw so much and him being gone so much anyways. Boy was I wrong. There's good days and bad days. In the beginning there was a lot more worse days. I think because I didn't know how to explain it to my kids. And I was also struggling in some ways. Oaklie got attached to him like crazy right before he left and Brodie's always been his buddy. It was all just so new. To top it off I went threw my first thanksgiving without him in 4 years and my first Christmas without him in 10 years. Our world completely flipped on us and it made it so much harder. So here we are months after Sam has left and we are all surviving!
Oaklie turned one a few short days after Sam left. I knew my kids were going to change alot but oh man Oaklie is changing the most and it makes me a little sad knowing he isnt here for this. I thank our lucky stars for technology though. Without it he really would be missing out. Its nothing like basic training where all we had was hand written letters. Oaklie is starting to talk like crazy. She is still this firecracker bundle of personality. She is so opinionated already and it makes me laugh! When a song comes on she likes she yells UP to you so you will turn it up. Her favorite movie is shrek and she loves getting Brodie in trouble. She loves bubbles and jumping off of things. She is my snuggly little girl.
Brodie is just getting so big. I cant believe he is 4 now! Just so insane to me. He is getting such an attitude and super sassy. He is finishing his first year of preschool! Like what the heck! I am getting old guys! He gets himself dressed every morning. And even gets Oaklies clothes picked out for me. He makes his own bed now and he is so proud of himself for it! He is soaking up this warm weather like crazy. He is ready for swimming and just being outside. He is learning to climb trees and loves finding bugs!
We are trying to stay busy and counting down the days until our daddy his home in our arms again.

9 months of baby girl love!
Oaklie Sue I love you. You are truly an amazing little soul. Your always so content. Your a quiet little thing but when you want to you sure can be loud. You have quiet the cry. You are such a mama girl. I can't believe you've been crawling since 7 months and pulling yourself up. You want to learn things so fast. Your going to be an over achiever in this life. You love the world around you. You have such an amazing love for your brother and it just tickles me! You love to clap, crawl, get into everything you can, say uh-oh, the pool, being outside. You love so many things! You love food! I laugh every time we eat because you eat faster then I can feed you! there isn't one thing you hate yet and I love that! You love your puppies! Every time they come around you giggle and scream at them. You love hanging onto my fingers and walking its your new favorite thing, but please slow down! Your still a baby!!. I love your beautiful red curly hair! I love your smile and your giggle. Baby girl I love absolutely everything about you.
Summer 2015!
Once again our lives have been so crazy! This time though its been fun crazy!
Sam has been gone alot for his summer training's and more schools.
On the 4th we hosted Sam's family for our first party at our new house and it was so much fun! The kids played in Brodie's pool and we bbq burgers and hot dogs. Of coarse we did fire works, and the kids waited oh so patiently to do them. Luckily we had sparklers and pop-its to keep them busy!
Brodie had so much fun he passed out before he could drink his chocolate milk that night! little guy was just so busy!
The kids and I have spent alot of time at my moms pool and just hanging out with family.
I finally got my upstairs painted minus the laundry room! go me! I finally feel like things are coming together!
We finally got our family pictures done and oh man are they amazing!
This week our sweet baby girl is 9 months! It has gone by way to fast for me! She started crawling around 7 months! She now is standing up and pushing away from whatever was supporting her, she loves walking when you hold her hand, she can say mama, dada, bubu, and uh_oh. She can clap her hands and is figuring out how to baby dance. She is so full of light and I love her!
Brodie is the best big brother, he loves helping me. Whenever Oaklie is crying he trys to make her happy. He loves to help clean such as do the dishes, laundry, vacuuming, and dusting. He is getting so wild and it kind of scares me haha. he will stand at the top of something and jump off with no warning. He likes to help mow the lawn. He is just my favorite little boy and I still cant believe how blessed I got with two great kids.
I just have to have a mushy wife moment. I am so proud of Sam. Last year Sam wasn't just gone for his weekend drills he was also gone at least once a week every month and sometimes multiple weekends. He was going to a bunch of schools to further his military career, and they paid off! Just a few weeks ago he was promoted to Sargent! Its time's like this that all the lonely nights are worth it just to see him smile and be happy that he accomplished something! I absolutely love this man and how hard of a worker he his! He makes me proud to be an Army Wife!
I love where our life is going and I feel like things finally on a good path!
Enjoy the pictures!

Busy busy busy
Where do I begin?! We have been so busy! We bought a house in provo and we got the keys March 17! And holy cow we have been so busy! So when I got the keys I went straight to the house and decided I'm going to get our room done first. We had pretty wall paper on two walls and oh man this house has been a lot of work! So took me about 3 days to get the wall paper stripped and ceilings and walls painted. Then I did the kids room and they only needed ceiling and walls painted. Well at least I thought our rooms were done. My parents got home from a trip and came over and showed me how to make things look better. So my mom came over every day and helped me paint. In a week we got both bed rooms and the living and dining rooms done. So our living room and dining room had the greatest green carpet I've ever seen and we ripped it up and we had hard wood floors!!!! This house has been a fun project but very time consuming. I will be posting before and after a. It doesn't even look like the same house!
So before we moved in we celebrated Brodie's 3rd birthday. I can't believe my baby is 3. We went to jump on it and he thought that was so fun we won't stop talking about his birthday. I was worried about how Brodie would do not living at my in laws anymore but he was so in love with our house I didn't have to worry! He won't stop talking about his back yard. We live right behind a grocery store and we walk over almost every day and Brodie loves it.
Oaklie is 7 months and sitting up like a champ and already trying to crawl! She loves Brodie and loves smacking his face. She loves walks in her stroller. And her puppies. She already has such a great personality.
We also got a new puppy so now we have two Great Danes we named her jazz and she is Brodie's best friend.
I didn't realize how much work houses are haha. Things are finally slowing down so hopefully I'm on here more. I can't wait to share some pictures!
